ProAc Response DB1R Introduces Ribbon Tweeter Technology in the Brand’s Most Compact Standmount Speaker
ProAc introduces the Response DB1R, its smallest standmount loudspeaker with a ribbon tweeter, extending Response-series refinement into a more compact format.
The DB1R replaces the DB1’s 25mm silk dome with ProAc’s ribbon tweeter, using an alnico magnet, rear chamber damping, and ultra-light diaphragm.
Bass performance comes from a 127mm long-throw Pagina Mica mid/bass driver, rear bass reflex port, and resonance-controlled HDF cabinet construction.
