The Audeze LCD-5s, unveiled at NAMM 2026, introduces the SLAM (Symmetric Linear Acoustic Modulator) technology, enhancing bass response and transparency by optimizing air pressure and reducing distortion.

Featuring a 90mm planar magnetic driver with advanced technologies like Fluxor magnets, Fazor waveguides, and a nano-scale diaphragm, the LCD-5s delivers a frequency response of 5Hz–50kHz and requires a high-powered amplifier for optimal performance.

Weighing 475g, the LCD-5s combines magnesium and carbon fiber for a lighter build compared to earlier models, with redesigned earpads for improved comfort and premium materials like tortoiseshell acetate and copper accents.
