The Audio Physic Cardeas loudspeaker is a four-way floor-standing model designed to deliver an exceptional listening experience. Built with a unique multi-layer sandwich honeycomb enclosure, it features an innovative combination of materials including high-tech honeycomb panels and glass, providing rigidity and internal damping to minimize unwanted resonance. The speaker incorporates a quartet of drivers: two 28-cm woofers configured in a push-push arrangement, an 18-cm mid-bass driver, a 15-cm midrange driver, and a 39-mm tweeter, all carefully designed to ensure high-quality sound reproduction across a wide frequency range. The Cardeas has a frequency response from 25 Hz to 40 kHz and an impedance of 4 Ω, with an efficiency rating of 89 dB. It can operate with a recommended amplifier power between 40 to 350 W. Unique design features such as asymmetrically arranged drivers, a backward-sloping front panel, and specialized footings ensure minimal vibration and optimized acoustic performance. It is available in various finishes including Glass White, Glass Black, and several wood options, with a price of €36,550 per pair, escalating to €37,990 for specialty finishes.
