The B&W CT8 LR is a custom theatre three-way left/right speaker designed for high-performance audio delivery in home cinema applications. It features a robust configuration including one 32mm (1.25 in) metal dome high-frequency driver, one 150mm (6 in) FST midrange driver constructed from Aramid Fiber, and two 250mm (10 in) Rohacell bass drivers. This setup ensures a powerful bass response and clear, detailed mid and high frequencies. The speaker also includes a unique spherical housing design that allows for adjustable positioning of the midrange and tweeter, enhancing the acoustic focus towards the listener. Employing advanced materials and technologies, such as the tubeloaded design for the tweeter, helps minimize unwanted sound reflections and provides an expanded frequency range.
