The B&W DB3D is a compact yet powerful subwoofer, designed to deliver deep low frequencies that surpass expectations given its size. It is engineered to produce very tight, fast, and impactful bass suitable for both low-frequency effects in movies and two-channel stereo music. The DB3D features two 200mm (8-inch) Aerofoil cone drive units configured in a balanced arrangement to efficiently generate room-filling bass while minimizing unwanted cabinet resonances due to its back-to-back driver design. The subwoofer utilizes digital amplification for efficient energy use and low heat generation, paired with technologies like Dynamic EQ and Room EQ to optimize sound quality. Its ultra-rigid low-resonance enclosure is available in three finishes, allowing for aesthetic compatibility with the 800 Series Diamond and 700 Series speakers. Additionally, users can easily control the DB3D via a dedicated app, streamlining setup and sound optimization.
