The Dynaudio Contour 2.8 is a bookshelf speaker manufactured from 1992 to 1998. It features a 2-way design with Dynaudio's proprietary Black Loaded Radiator (BLR) technology. The speaker incorporates a 2.8 cm ESOTAR T330D tweeter and a 20 cm midrange/bass driver, complemented by a 20 cm passive radiator. It offers a frequency response ranging from 32Hz to 21kHz +/- 3dB, making it suitable for a variety of audio applications. The Contour 2.8 has an efficiency of 86 dB at 2.83V/1Meter and a power handling capacity of over 150 Watts. The nominal impedance is 4 Ohms. Its dimensions are 1030 mm in height, 225 mm in width, and 330 mm in depth, with each unit weighing approximately 24.9 kg. Available finishes include beech, cherry, black ash, rosewood, and lacquered white and black. The original retail price was around 9,000 DM.
