The Contour S R rear speaker was conceived to deliver authentic Dynaudio performance in applications where conventional loudspeakers are not viable. This innovative model expands the Contour performance level to align with the high-quality standards of other models within the range. Its unique, compact geometry makes it a discreet yet stylish addition, perfect for mounting onto a wall or seamlessly integrating into a living environment. The narrowly tapered, angular shape not only enhances its aesthetic appeal but also makes it an elegant high-quality loudspeaker to complement a modern plasma display monitor.

The Contour S R is also a high-performance surround loudspeaker, ideal for any Contour multi-channel system. As the smallest of the Contour models, it features the same high-quality Dynaudio drivers exclusive to this range, ensuring seamless sonic integration with any system that includes other Contour mains and the S C center.

One of the standout features of the Contour S R is its availability in a choice of real-wood veneer finishes: Maple, Cherry, Rosewood, and Black Ash. Additionally, several other real-wood veneers and finishes such as Piano Clear Lacquer, White Piano Lacquer, and Black Piano Lacquer can be made available upon request through special order.
