The Evidence Master, launched in 1999, is an ultra-high performance loudspeaker that marked a significant point in loudspeaker technology with its advanced design and exceptional sound quality. Its modular cabinet construction integrates a comprehensive array of Dynaudio's most sophisticated drivers, consisting of four woofers, two midrange drivers, and two soft dome tweeters arranged in a vertically symmetric array. This setup ensures a balanced and genuine music reproduction thanks to a highly-sophisticated crossover system which uses DDC technology to diminish room reflections.
This speaker stands out not only for its acoustic capabilities but also for its aesthetic appeal. Comprising three interlocked sections, the Evidence Master offers enhanced performance by separating the bass units in the upper and lower sections from the midrange and treble units housed in the middle section. The middle section itself is a marvel of engineering with a massive CNC-machined solid aluminum baffle that holds two special Dynaudio MSP cone midrange drivers and two precisely matched soft-dome tweeters. This design not only ensures optimal sound dispersion but also contributes to the system's ability to control resonance, allowing for uncolored high-frequency reproduction and meticulous detail in music playback. The thoughtful segmentation of the speaker allows each section to be specifically optimized for handling different aspects of sound which delivers a clearer, more precise audio output.
