The Dynaudio P46 is a loudspeaker that was manufactured between 1977 and 1979 in Denmark. It features a 4-way transmission line design, which enhances its audio performance across various frequencies. The speaker is equipped with a total of four drivers: one 210 mm bass-midrange driver, one 210 mm midrange driver, one 54 mm dome tweeter, and one 28 mm dome tweeter. It boasts a power handling capacity of 100 watts nominally and up to 180 watts for music. The efficiency is designed to provide a frequency response ranging from 30 Hz to 30 kHz, with transitional ranges set at 400 Hz, 1,200 Hz, and 5,000 Hz. A notable feature of the P46 is its impedance, which can vary between 4 to 8 Ohms. The speaker has dimensions of 690 mm in height, 420 mm in width, and 250 mm in depth, and it weighs 15 kg. The original price at launch was approximately 980 DM per unit, and it is available in a brown finish. It is part of a series that includes other models such as the P16, P21, P31, and P76.
