The Dynaudio Profil 4 is equipped with a 14cm long-throw mid/bass driver crafted from Magnesium Silicate Polymer (MSP). This materials choice has been a hallmark of Dynaudio designs for decades. The driver features an extremely light and thin 0.4mm diaphragm that is designed for optimized performance through its unique construction. It maintains a strong balance between midrange and bass, supported by a rigid glass-fibre voice-coil former and a lightweight 38mm aluminum voice-coil that improves control over the cone's movement. The speaker's assembly uses an aramid fibre spider to ensure stability in movement. Additionally, it benefits from a powerful strontium carbonate Ferrite+ ceramic magnet system, providing enhanced dynamics and low-frequency response while ensuring excellent midrange performance.
