The ES 165 KX2 audio kit is an advanced sound system that features a pair of 165 mm (6½") woofers, which utilize a Kevlar® membrane to produce an exceptionally rich and impactful sound. The woofers are designed with an ogive at the center of the cone, enhancing sound dispersion throughout the vehicle's interior. This ensures that audio delivery is both powerful and evenly distributed.
Paired with the woofers are two TKMX inverted dome tweeters, constructed with an "M" profile using aramid fiber. These tweeters are integrated with bi-amplified filters, which provide precise control over the high-frequency spectrum, delivering soft yet sharply defined highs. This careful engineering guarantees an elevated listening experience by maintaining clarity and detail in the upper ranges of sound.
The ES 165 KX2 system boasts impressive power handling, making it a flagship model in the K2 Power range. Its superior performance has been recognized by audio experts since its introduction at the international CES exhibition in Las Vegas, where it earned the CES Innovation 2016 prize.
