This speaker boasts a powerful 200mm (8") IsoFlareTM driver and a corresponding 200mm (8") bass/mid driver, each constructed with rigid multi-fibre cones and equipped with FyneFluteTM roll surrounds for enhanced sound purity. The IsoFlareTM technology incorporates a 25mm magnesium compression tweeter, complete with a unique HF wave guide pole piece, ensuring a remarkably even and expansive frequency response. This setup not only offers exceptional Hi-Fi musical imaging but also caters to audiophiles seeking top-tier sound production.
Enhancements in the F502SP extend to the inclusion of advanced crossover components derived from the F700 series, promoting an optimized audio signal path. The speaker stands on an aluminium sandwich type plinth, which utilizes a BassTrax tractrix profile bass diffuser. This feature is specifically re-engineered to accommodate the compact cabinet of the F502SP, fine-tuning its acoustic output to perfection.
