The Heco Superior 800 is a floorstanding speaker model that was manufactured in Germany between 1985 and 1987. This speaker features a 3-way closed construction and is designed to deliver powerful and clear sound performance. The Superior 800 consists of two 235 mm cone woofers, one 105 mm cone midrange driver, and a 25 mm dome tweeter, making it capable of handling a wide frequency range from 20 Hz to 32,000 Hz. It has a nominal power handling of 160 watts and can handle peaks of up to 220 watts. With an efficiency of 89 dB and an impedance of 4 ohms, the Superior 800 is designed for compatibility with a variety of audio equipment. The speaker is available in several finishes including black ash, walnut, oak, and white ash, with special versions in piano black. It measures 290 mm in width, 1100 mm in height, and 335 mm in depth, with a total weight of 28 kg. It was originally priced around 2800 DM for standard versions and approximately 3600 DM for special finishes.
