The Hitachi HA-5300 is a stereo integrated amplifier that was manufactured between 1976 and 1979 in Japan. This amplifier comes in a sleek silver and black finish and has a power consumption of 500 watts. It has dimensions of 435 x 166.5 x 391 mm and weighs 12.3 kg. The original price was approximately 928 DM. The HA-5300 features multiple input options, including six regular inputs and one power amp input for additional versatility. Specifically, it accommodates two phono inputs with sensitivity of 2mV at 50 kOhm, and other inputs such as tuner, aux, and tape inputs at 100mV (50 kOhm). The amplifier can drive speaker pairs rated between 4 to 16 Ohms and allows for bridge configurations, enhancing its usability for various speaker setups.

In terms of technical specifications, the HA-5300 provides continuous power output of 60 watts per channel into 8 Ohms and 85 watts per channel into 4 Ohms, both at a total harmonic distortion (THD) of 0.3%. For dynamic power, it offers up to 130 watts per channel at 8 Ohms. The amplifier boasts a frequency response of 10 Hz to 50 kHz, ensuring a wide bandwidth for sound reproduction. It features a signal-to-noise ratio that improves sound clarity and stereo channel separation, contributing to cleaner audio playback. Additionally, it has tone control settings allowing for ±8 dB adjustment for bass (100 Hz) and treble (10 kHz). The amplifier includes a loudness function, high and low filters, and the ability to separate the pre/power amplifier sections. Other features include a three-stage muting option and adjustable speaker output.
