The Hitachi HA-610 is an integrated amplifier manufactured between 1975 and 1978 in Japan. It features a silver exterior and offers a power consumption of 400 W. The amplifier measures 435 x 144 x 388 mm (WxHxD) and has a weight of 12 kg. It provides a range of input options including one tuner input, two auxiliary inputs, two tape inputs, and two phono inputs, alongside a main input. Output options include two stereo speaker outputs and two tape outputs, as well as a pre-out. The HA-610 delivers a sine power of 2 x 70 Watts at 8 Ohms and 2 x 90 Watts at 4 Ohms. It exhibits a total harmonic distortion of just 0.006% and intermodulation distortion of 0.05%. The attenuation factor is rated at 60, with a frequency response that extends from 7 Hz to 70,000 Hz for tape, auxiliary, and tuner inputs and +/-0.3dB for phono RIAA. The signal-to-noise ratio exceeds 100dB. Additional features include tone controls for both bass and treble, each adjustable by ±8 dB at specified frequencies, loudness control, high and low filters, and a mute function. The amplifier also allows for a separable pre/power stage configuration. The original price at launch was approximately 998 DM.
