The Infinity Kappa 8A is a floor-standing speaker model that was introduced in 1987. It measures 120 cm in height, 51 cm in width, and 20 cm in depth. The speaker features a bass driver of 30 cm, midrange drivers consisting of one Kappa-Polygraph and one Kappa-Polydome, and two EMIT tweeters, with one positioned on the rear for enhanced sound dispersion. The Kappa 8A is recommended to be paired with amplifiers offering a power output between 50 to 250 watts per channel. It covers a frequency range from 33 Hz to 45 kHz, with crossover frequencies set at 90 Hz, 700 Hz, and 5000 Hz. Originally, a pair of these speakers had a suggested retail price of $1998.
