The Jamo D 590 is a floorstanding loudspeaker that celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Jamo brand with a special edition featuring premium materials and construction. This model employs a 3-way driver design that includes a 1" soft dome tweeter, dual 5" midrange drivers, and an 8" downward-firing woofer, ensuring a full range of sound. The cabinet is elegantly crafted with a wood-grain veneer and high-gloss painted top cap, complemented by a removable magnetic woven tweed grille. For flexibility in setup, the D 590 includes dual binding posts allowing for bi-wiring or bi-amping, and it is designed with a unique arc-shaped MDF enclosure to minimize distortion caused by standing waves. With a power handling of 200 watts long-term and an impressive frequency response from 35 Hz to 20 kHz, the D 590 delivers robust low-end while maintaining clarity in higher frequencies. The speaker is available in black and walnut finishes, featuring a sequentially-numbered 50th-anniversary plate. Each speaker also comes with both plastic and spike feet options for optimal stability depending on placement surface, ensuring not only aesthetic appeal but also functional performance.
