The Jamo J 70 is a compact loudspeaker model, manufactured by Jamo from 1977 to 1979 in Denmark. It features a stylish design available in several finishes including walnut, teak, rosewood, and black. With dimensions of 230 x 440 x 200 mm and a weight of 6 kg, the J 70 is designed for versatile placement in various audio setups. Its construction consists of a 2-way system with two speakers operating within a closed cabinet. The low-frequency driver is a 210 mm cone, complemented by a 25 mm dome tweeter for high frequencies. The speaker has a nominal power handling of 60 W and a peak capacity of 100 W, showcasing decent efficiency across its frequency response range of 35 Hz to 20 kHz. The crossover frequency is set at 2,200 Hz, and the speaker operates at an impedance of 8 Ohm. Additionally, it incorporates overload protection for enhanced durability and performance.
