The Jamo Power 555 is a floorstanding loudspeaker model produced by Jamo between 1984 and 1985, manufactured in Denmark. With a stylish walnut and black finish, this speaker measures 780 x 450 x 350 mm and weighs 34 kg. The design features a 3-way bass reflex system, making it suitable for a variety of listening environments. The Power 555 is equipped with one 305 mm cone woofer, a midrange driver consisting of a 394 x 95 mm horn with a 50 mm driver, and five 75 mm horns with a 25 mm driver for the higher frequencies. This configuration allows the speaker to handle a nominal power of 350 W and a maximum power of 500 W, delivering a high efficiency rating of 97 dB/W/m. It features a frequency response range from 22 Hz to 20,000 Hz, making it capable of reproducing deep bass as well as high treble sounds. The transitional ranges are set at 1,200 Hz and 3,500 Hz, and the speaker has an impedance of 8 Ohm. Additionally, it includes a level adjustment feature for the treble and midrange, as well as overload protection for both the tweeter and midrange driver, enhancing its durability and performance. The matching base for this model is the F37.
