The Jamo S 3 is a compact 2-way bass reflex speaker designed for versatile audio performance across various environments. Manufactured in Denmark between 1988 and 1992, it features a sleek and unobtrusive design available in black or white. The speaker measures 200 mm in height, 135 mm in width, and 80 mm in depth, weighing 1.3 kg. It was originally priced at approximately 260 DM per pair. The S 3 uses a 102 mm cone woofer and a 50 mm cone tweeter, delivering a power handling capability of 50 W nominal and 60 W music. With an efficiency of 96 dB at 4 W, it provides a significant acoustic output across a frequency response range of 80 Hz to 20,000 Hz, utilizing a crossover frequency of 4,500 Hz. The speaker is designed with an impedance of 8 Ohm and includes a wall mount for easy installation. It is part of a series which features additional models such as the Jamo SW 3 subwoofer, S 60, and S 100 speakers, enhancing its adaptability to various audio setups.
