The JVC T-K 20 is a tuner manufactured by JVC between 1982 and 1984 in Japan. It is designed in an elegant silver color and has a compact size with dimensions of 435 x 77 x 288 mm and a weight of 3.1 kg. The device operates without remote control and has a power consumption that reflects its efficiency in tuning FM and MW frequencies. Its input capabilities include antenna inputs for both 75 Ohm and 300 Ohm connections. The output features line out with a level of 610 mV and a load of 2.7 kOhm. The reception capabilities are impressive, covering VHF frequencies ranging from 88 to 108 MHz and MW frequencies spanning 535 to 1605 KHz. For FM, the input sensitivity is rated at 2.1µV, while MW sensitivity is at 50µV. The tuner provides a signal-to-noise ratio of 76 dB in mono and 65 dB in stereo, along with a selectivity of 60 dB at 400 kHz. Distortion is kept to a minimum with features that enhance its performance including FM muting and memory storage for six stations for both FM and MW bands. Its price upon release was approximately 400 DM.
