The Luxman A-225 is an integrated amplifier produced between 1995 and 1998, designed to deliver high-quality audio performance in a sleek black casing. The A-225 was originally priced at approximately 650 DM. It exhibits low total harmonic distortion of just 0.008%, ensuring clean sound output. The frequency response is detailed, with the phono section covering 30 Hz to 20 kHz and the CD, tape, and auxiliary inputs spanning 7 Hz to 100 kHz, both within ± 0.5 dB. Signal-to-noise ratios are impressive, rated at 80 dB for phono inputs and 105 dB for other inputs. Additionally, it features tone control with bass and treble adjustments of ± 10 dB, a loudness function, mute function, and line straight option for uncolored sound production.
