The Luxman D-100 CENTENNIAL is the brand's flagship SACD/CD player, released in 2025 as part of Luxman's 100th anniversary commemorative lineup and successor to the D-10X from 2020. Its proprietary LxDTM-i disc transport mechanism is reinforced with thick aluminium side frames, a steel top plate, and an aluminium base for improved rigidity and vibration damping. Digital conversion uses dual Rohm BD34302EKV MUS-IC DAC chips in a dual-mono configuration per channel, supporting PCM up to 32-bit/768 kHz and DSD up to DSD512 (22.5 MHz) via USB, alongside native SACD and CD playback. The fully symmetrical LIFES 1.1 analog output stage feeds gold-plated RCA and Neutrik XLR terminals. A large monochrome OLED display replaces the fluorescent panel of earlier Luxman disc players. At 25.4 kg, the D-100 CENTENNIAL reflects extensive use of high-grade power transformers and capacitors throughout its construction. It targets audiophiles who require a reference-class disc transport with full compatibility for both legacy physical media and high-resolution USB audio sources.
