LS-1000

Building on their extensive expertise in crafting premium speakers for Steinway Lyngdorf reference home theaters, notably the exceptional Steinway & Sons LS series, engineers have developed the LS-1000 for Lyngdorf Audio systems. This new model intricately blends the high-performing attributes of Lyngdorf MH and FR series speakers, resulting in a high-fidelity audio solution ideally suited for sophisticated home audio environments.

The LS-1000 is composed of individual modules; when four are combined, they create a formidable line source speaker. Each module is equipped with four 115mm midrange drivers that feature lightweight aluminum cones, 25mm voice coils, and potent vented magnets. These modules are further augmented by eight 1” soft dome tweeters. Altogether, the integrated assembly of four LS-1000 modules forms a line array that includes a total of 16 midrange drivers and 32 tweeters, engineered to deliver an enveloping and precise sound stage.

Lyngdorf Audio has carefully designed three distinct models of the LS-1000 to cater to various acoustic and spatial configurations—each tailored to optimize sound dispersion within different room settings:

• Lyngdorf LS-1000 Left: This model is crafted to emit sound that beams slightly inward when placed on the left side of a room, directing the audio away from the side wall and towards the central listening area. It is ideal for creating a cohesive and immersive sound field from the leftmost position of the speaker arrangement.
• Lyngdorf LS-1000 Center: Featuring centrally mounted tweeters, this variant offers even sound dispersion to both the left and right, ensuring a balanced output that is perfect for use as a center speaker behind an acoustically transparent screen. Its design also suits it for use as both left and right speakers in wider rooms to broaden the listening area significantly.
• Lyngdorf LS-1000 Right: Similar to the Left model but for the opposite side, this model's sound also beams inward when placed on the right, enhancing audio focus towards the audience while minimizing side wall reflections.
