DALI has recently unveiled three new loudspeakers in its premium EPIKORE series: the EPIKORE 3, EPIKORE 7, and EPIKORE 9. These additions expand the lineup that already included the flagship EPIKORE 11, giving audiophiles a range of sizes and configurations tailored for different room types and sound preferences.
The EPIKORE 3 is DALI’s new stand-mount model, offering powerful performance in a compact form, while the EPIKORE 7 and EPIKORE 9 are floorstanding speakers with varying driver configurations for larger listening spaces. All models aim to deliver “effortless, explosive dynamic response” and are equipped with DALI’s most advanced sound technologies.
Technical Details:
EVO-K™ Hybrid Tweeter Module: All models in the EPIKORE series feature this hybrid tweeter design, which combines a 35 mm soft dome tweeter with a 10 mm planar magnetostatic tweeter. This configuration provides a smooth, extended high-frequency response, reducing harshness while maintaining clarity.
SMC™ Gen-2 Technology: DALI continues to push the boundaries of low-distortion audio with Soft Magnetic Compound (SMC) Gen-2 drivers, found in all the EPIKORE models. This technology minimizes mechanical loss, resulting in cleaner and more natural sound reproduction.
Clarity Cone™ Drivers: Each speaker is equipped with Clarity Cone™ paper/wood fiber bass and midrange drivers for accurate and detailed mid-range and bass performance.
Enclosure Design: The EPIKORE speakers are built with premium materials, featuring high-gloss cabinets available in black, walnut, or maroon finishes. The cabinets also incorporate Continuous Flare bass reflex ports to reduce turbulence and improve bass output.
Power and Sensitivity: The speakers have varying power requirements, with the EPIKORE 9 capable of handling up to 500 watts of amplification and producing a maximum SPL of 112 dB, making it a great option for large rooms. The frequency range for the series spans from 42 Hz to 34 kHz, ensuring rich lows and detailed highs.
Driver Configurations:
• EPIKORE 3: A 3-way stand-mount speaker with a 7-inch woofer and the EVO-K hybrid tweeter module.
• EPIKORE 7: A compact 3.5-way floorstanding model with two 7-inch woofers.
• EPIKORE 9: A 4-way design featuring two 8-inch woofers and a 6.5-inch midrange driver for more powerful bass and midrange performance.
