Features 40mm dynamic drivers with Japanese PET composite diaphragms and CCAW voice coils for responsive sound.
The FiiO SNOWSKY Wind on-ear headphones have just hit the European market, bringing a nostalgic throwback to the classic designs of the 80s. Inspired by the iconic headphones of the Sony WALKMAN era, the SNOWSKY Wind features vivid orange foam earpads and a sleek retro aesthetic that captures the spirit of the time.
Crafted under FiiO's SNOWSKY sub-brand, which targets a younger audience seeking colorful and eye-catching gear, these headphones are available in silver, pink, and black finishes. Each pair comes with two sets of earpads—orange and black—that not only allow for customization but are also said to offer slightly different sound characteristics.
Weighing in at just around 50 grams, the SNOWSKY Wind boasts a semi-open back design and an ultra-lightweight build for comfortable long-term wear. The swiveling ear cup mounts and easily adjustable thin headband contribute to a snug fit without compromising portability.
Under the hood, the headphones are equipped with 40mm dynamic drivers featuring Japanese-imported PET composite diaphragms. Paired with CCAW (Copper Clad Aluminium Wire) voice coils and strong N52 neodymium magnets, this setup promises a dynamic and responsive sound experience. The technical specs include an impedance of 32Ω and a sensitivity of 101dB, making them suitable for use with a variety of devices.
The SNOWSKY Wind also includes an in-line remote control and microphone on its cable, compatible with CTIA standards, allowing for effortless playback control and hands-free calls. The cable terminates in a standard 3.5mm mini-jack, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of audio sources.
Priced at a recommended retail of €29, the SNOWSKY Wind offers an affordable entry into FiiO's lineup. Each package also includes a convenient carrying case for easy transport.
