Harman Kardon Enchant Enchant 1100 and 900 Dolby Atmos Soundbars
We were genuinely intrigued when Harman Kardon dropped their latest soundbars, the Enchant 900 and Enchant 1100, at CES 2025. Both models boast Dolby Atmos support, a feature that's becoming increasingly essential for an immersive home audio experience.
The Enchant 1100 packs 11 drivers, while the Enchant 900 comes with 9—hence their names. This driver setup includes up-firing height channels (two 2.75" on the 1100 and two 2.5" on the 900) to deliver true Dolby Atmos effects. The MultiBeam™ technology is a standout, aiming to fill the room with sound without the need for additional speakers or wires cluttering your space.
Control and customization are handled through the Harman Kardon One mobile app, making it convenient to tweak settings to personal preferences. Both models support a slew of streaming options: AirPlay, Chromecast built-in™, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, and Bluetooth. The Enchant 1100 goes a step further with DTS:X support and is Roon Ready certified, which is a big plus for high-resolution audio enthusiasts.

The Enchant 1100 steps it up with a frequency response of 52Hz to 20kHz (-6dB) and a heftier total output of 315W RMS. It features six racetrack drivers, three tweeters, and two larger up-firing full-range drivers. Its dimensions are 1150 x 65 x 130 mm, which should still fit comfortably under most TVs.
Connectivity options are robust. Both soundbars include HDMI input and output with eARC support, optical input, USB (with playback availability varying by region), and Bluetooth 5.3. Wi-Fi capabilities include support for both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks, ensuring stable streaming.
The Enchant series is set to hit the shelves in March 2025, with pricing at £849.99 for the Enchant 1100 and £429.99 for the Enchant 900. Considering the features and Harman Kardon's legacy in audio quality, these soundbars might be strong contenders for anyone looking to enhance their home theater setup without diving into the complexities of a full surround system.
