Dolby Atmos-compatible 2.1.2 sound system tuned by Devialet for immersive audio.
High-performance Hi-View AI Engine Pro with 165 Hz refresh rate for gamers.
Hisense has unveiled its latest U7 series of Mini LED TVs for the German market, marking a significant advancement in display technology. These LCD televisions feature Mini-LED backlighting, offering enhanced brightness and an increased number of local dimming zones compared to their predecessors. This improvement is expected to deliver superior HDR performance, providing viewers with more vibrant and detailed images.
A standout feature of the Hisense U7 series is its commitment to high-quality audio. The 2.1.2 speaker system is not only Dolby Atmos compatible but also tuned by Devialet, renowned for their expertise in sound engineering. Although the "Tuned by Devialet" certification will be available through a software update, this collaboration ensures an immersive audio experience that complements the advanced visual capabilities of the TV.
Performance-wise, the U7 series is powered by the Hi-View AI Engine Pro, boasting a 1.6x faster CPU, 2.2x faster GPU, and a 1.5x faster NPU for AI computations compared to the previous model. This robust processing power supports a 165 Hz refresh rate, catering particularly to PC gamers who will benefit from smoother and more responsive gameplay. Additionally, the TVs are equipped with four HDMI 2.1 ports, Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, ensuring compatibility with the latest gaming consoles and peripherals.
Visual quality is further enhanced by features such as IMAX Enhanced, Dolby Vision, and a Filmmaker mode, which aim to deliver content in its most authentic form. The inclusion of Quantum Dot Color and Pantone Validated Color technology ensures accurate and lifelike color reproduction, making the U7 series an excellent choice for both movie enthusiasts and professional content creators.
Set to launch on May 15, 2025, the Hisense U7 series will be available in six sizes ranging from 55 to 116 inches, though availability may vary by region. As Hisense continues to expand its portfolio, the U7 series stands out as a versatile option for those seeking top-tier performance in both visual and audio aspects without the compromise of losing essential features like DTS support.
