Hisense has introduced its impressive 163-inch UX MicroLED TV in China, setting a new benchmark for large-scale displays. Priced at approximately $110,000, this bezel-less masterpiece boasts a matrix of 24.88 million micro-LED crystals, delivering an exceptional peak brightness of up to 10,000 nits. This advanced MicroLED technology effectively eliminates the risk of pixel burn-in, a common issue with OLED panels, ensuring longevity and consistent performance.
The display offers a remarkable refresh rate of 3840 Hz and covers 98% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, providing vibrant and accurate colors. Supporting Dolby Vision IQ and HDR10+, the TV ensures a dynamic and immersive viewing experience. A special three-layer nanofilm reduces light reflection by 3.8%, allowing for a wide viewing angle of 178°, making it ideal for various lighting conditions.
Sound quality is equally noteworthy, featuring a 6.2.2-channel Devialet audio system with Dolby Atmos and DTS support. This setup delivers rich surround sound through Virtual X technology, enhancing both cinematic and gaming experiences. For gamers, the TV includes VRR and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technologies, alongside two HDMI 2.1 ports that support 4K resolution at 120Hz, ensuring smooth and responsive gameplay.
The UX MicroLED’s dual-core architecture allows simultaneous adjustment of light and color, optimizing picture quality in real-time. Despite its massive size, the TV maintains a sleek profile with a thickness of just 24mm, making it one of the thinnest large MicroLED TVs available on the market today. As of now, it remains unclear if this premium model will be available internationally, but its launch marks a significant advancement in display technology.
