Linn has unveiled the fifth-generation Majik DSM, marking a significant evolution since its initial release in 2010. This integrative amplifier seamlessly combines a digital-to-analog converter, pre-amplifier, network streamer, and power amplifier into a single unit, catering to the discerning audiophile seeking both performance and convenience.
At the heart of the new Majik DSM lies Linn’s proprietary precision clocking and upsampling technology, enhancing the accuracy of the music signal before amplification. The amplifier is built using custom Class D modules, known for their efficiency and low noise, ensuring a clean and dynamic audio output. Additionally, the Space Optimization feature allows the device to adapt its performance based on the specific acoustics of the listening environment, providing a tailored sound experience.
Constructed from high-quality steel and aluminum, the Majik DSM stands on three anti-vibration feet, effectively minimizing unwanted resonances and maintaining stability.
