The Onkyo A-9211 is an integrated amplifier that was manufactured between 1998 and 2006. It features a silver and black color design, measuring 435 x 120 x 331 mm (WxHxD) and weighing 6.7 kg. This amplifier operates with a power consumption of approximately 500 DM. It includes a remote control for added convenience. The A-9211 is equipped with six inputs, including a Phono MM input suitable for turntables and various line-level inputs like Tuner, CD, and dual Tape inputs. The unit provides three output types: headphone output via a 6.3mm jack, and two Tape Rec outputs. The continuous power output of the A-9211 is rated at 2x 45 Watts RMS at 8 Ohms and 2x 60 Watts DIN at 4 Ohms, with dynamic power rated at 2x 55 Watts at 8 Ohms and 2x 80 Watts at 4 Ohms. The total harmonic distortion is low at 0.08%, with an attenuation factor of 60 at 8 Ohms. The frequency response spans from 15 Hz to 50 kHz ±1dB. Signal-to-noise ratios are rated at 80 dB for phono and 102 dB for CD inputs, allowing for clear audio playback. Tone control features include adjustable bass and treble up to ±8dB at specified frequencies, along with a loudness function for enhanced low-frequency response. The A-9211 also supports direct line-straight input for a purer signal path. This model is part of a series that includes other amplifiers such as the A-9511 and A-9711, among others.
