The Philips DCC-Recorder is a device that was released in the early 1990s by Philips. It was designed to record music on Digital Compact Cassette (DCC) tapes, which were a format developed by Philips and Matsushita. The DCC-Recorder allowed users to record digital audio from CDs or other sources onto the DCC tapes. Unfortunately, the DCC format did not gain widespread popularity and was eventually discontinued.
