The Pioneer CS-E 531 is a vintage loudspeaker model produced in Japan between 1976 and 1978. It features a closed cabinet design and is classified as a 3-way speaker system. The speakers include a 250 mm cone woofer, a 65 mm dome midrange driver, and a 25 mm dome tweeter. This model has a nominal power handling of 40 watts and can handle a maximum of 80 watts. With an efficiency rating of 90 dB/W/m, it offers good sound output. The frequency response ranges from 35 Hz to 20,000 Hz, allowing it to reproduce a wide spectrum of audio. The crossover frequencies are set at 900 Hz for the midrange and 5,500 Hz for the tweeter, facilitating a smooth transition between the driver outputs. The speakers have an impedance of 8 Ohms and their dimensions are 330mm wide, 570mm high, and 306mm deep, weighing approximately 13.5 kg each.
