The Pioneer CT-S 330 is a cassette tape deck manufactured between 1994 and 1996 in Japan. It features a sleek black design and has a power consumption of 16 watts. The unit measures 420 mm in width, 125 mm in height, and 280 mm in depth, with a weight of 3.7 kg. It originally retailed for approximately 400 DM. The CT-S 330 is equipped with two sound heads and one motor. It supports various types of cassette tapes, including Type I, II, and IV. The frequency response for Type I and Type II tapes ranges from 25 Hz to 17 kHz, while Type IV tapes can reach up to 18 kHz. It boasts a low distortion factor of less than 1% at -4dB and a signal-to-noise ratio greater than 57 dB without Dolby noise reduction. The deck supports Dolby B, C, and HX-Pro noise reduction technologies. It does not have auto-reverse functionality but includes features such as title search and manual fader control. The CT-S 330 also allows for CD synchro recording and comes with a SUPER AUTO BLE calibration computer to adjust bias, levels, and EQ settings. Other features include automatic tape type selection, a timer switch, and a counter memory display that can be switched off.
