The Pioneer F-204 RDS is a compact FM/AM digital synthesizer tuner that was manufactured in Japan from 1995 to 1998. Its design features a sleek black finish and dimensions of 420 x 75.5 x 284 mm, while weighing in at approximately 2.6 kg. The device operates with a power consumption of 15 watts and comes with a remote control. It provides FM tuning capabilities with a frequency range from 87.5 to 108 MHz and a useful sensitivity of 12.7 dBf in normal mono mode. The tuner supports both mono and stereo inputs, with sensitivity thresholds of 18.0 dBf (mono) and 38.0 dBf (stereo) in IHF terms. Signal-to-noise ratios are impressive, rated at 80 dB (mono) and 75 dB (stereo) at 80 dBf, with distortion levels of 0.06% for mono and 0.15% for stereo at 1 kHz.
