The Pioneer HPM-110 is a 4-way loudspeaker manufactured between 1979 and 1981 in Japan. It features a bass reflex construction designed to enhance sound quality and performance. The design incorporates a 300 mm carbon fiber cone for the bass, a 100 mm cone midrange driver, and a super tweeter with high polymer molecular film to provide a wide frequency response. The HPM-110 has an impressive frequency range from 25 Hz to 25 kHz, making it capable of reproducing both deep bass and high treble frequencies. With a nominal power handling of 100 watts and a maximum handling of 200 watts, it offers a robust performance suitable for various listening environments. The loudspeaker has an efficiency rating of 92.5 dB, ensuring it can produce loud sound levels with relatively low power input. It features transitional ranges at 3,000 Hz, 4,000 Hz, and 12,000 Hz, providing a detailed soundstage. The cabinet is constructed from wood with a grey finish, measuring 390 x 670 x 393 mm and weighing 26.7 kg. Initially sold for approximately 1,298 Deutsche Mark, the HPM-110 is part of a series that includes several other models such as the HPM-30, HPM-40, and HPM-100.
