The Pioneer SX-800 A is a vintage stereo receiver that was manufactured by Pioneer in Japan during the late 1960s. Notable for its silver chassis and classic design, the SX-800 A features a robust construction with dimensions of 445 x 150 x 440 mm and a weight of 18.5 kg. This model is part of a series that includes various other models with similar aesthetics and functionality. It does not come with a remote control and has a power consumption profile typical of its time. The receiver offers multiple input options including Phono ceramic, Phono MM, Tape, and Aux inputs, catering to a variety of audio sources.
