This technology enables a controlled, high-resolution low-frequency response. The 10-inch carbon-fibre/Nomex™ piston drivers, used in both cabinets, are synonymous with the acclaimed IB1S and IB2S speakers. Meanwhile, the IB2S-A master cabinet hosts PMC’s meticulously crafted 75mm fabric-dome mid-range driver alongside the 34mm soft-dome tweeter from the BB5 XBD-A. Each active master cabinet boasts 960 watts of pristine, audiophile-grade power, with 200 watts dedicated to the high-frequency and mid-range drivers, and 560 watts powering the low-frequency driver. This setup ensures precise monitoring down to 20Hz without distortion.

User customization is a key feature of the IB2S XBD-A, with adjustable high and low-frequency shelving filters and per-channel input level trims of ±8dB. It also includes a standard AES3 digital input and the flexibility to modify the input sensitivity for balanced analogue inputs ranging from +4dB to +20dB. With the included RJ45-connected remote control, users can easily manage EQ settings, level adjustments, and input selection from a convenient distance.
