QUAD has launched the 3CDT, a retro-styled CD transport designed to complement the QUAD 3 integrated amplifier, featuring a compact 30cm-wide footprint and vintage-inspired aesthetics.
The 3CDT focuses on reading CDs and transmitting digital signals via coaxial or optical outputs to external DACs, reducing internal electrical interference for cleaner audio playback.
Its advanced internal architecture includes a 32-bit RISC processor, dedicated microcontroller, and temperature-controlled crystal oscillator for precise data handling and jitter reduction.
