The Taifun from the Phonologue S series, produced around 1995 to 2000, is a 4-way bass reflex floorstanding speaker. It includes a lower bass reflex 210 mm woofer, an upper closed cabinet 210 mm bass/midrange driver, a 100 mm midrange driver, and a dome tweeter. This model can also handle 150 watts nominally and peaks at 200 watts, with a slightly broader frequency range from 28 Hz to 25,000 Hz and an impedance of 4 Ohm. Its dimensions are 1050 x 250 x 383.5 mm, with a weight of 22 kg. The finish options include real wood veneer such as natural oak, bird's eye maple, and cherry, among others.
