The Quadral Titan Mk III is a floorstanding speaker that was manufactured from 1986 to 1990 in Hanover, Germany. With its elegant design available in various finishes including antique walnut, mahogany, rustic oak, black oak, and natural oak, this speaker stands at a height of 1530 mm, width of 500 mm, and depth of 600 mm, weighing in at 150 kg per unit. It is characterized as a 3-way, Real-Transmission-Line speaker equipped with a 320 mm woofer, a 132 mm midrange driver, and a ribbon tweeter. The Titan Mk III has a power handling capacity of 250 watts nominal and 500 watts music power. Its crossover frequencies are set at 220 Hz for the woofer and 3,800 Hz for the midrange. The speaker is rated at an impedance of 8 ohms, with a frequency response spanning from 16 Hz to 50 kHz. The suggested retail price was approximately 6,000 DM per piece at the time of its release.
