The SABA CD 270 is a cassette tape deck manufactured between 1980 and 1982 in Japan. It features a silver finish and has a front-loading design. This stereo tape deck is equipped with a single capstan transport system and utilizes belt drive for its mechanisms, ensuring smooth operation. The CD 270 supports a variety of tape types, including normal, chrome, and metal tapes, and operates at a speed of 1⅞ ips (4.76 cm/s). Additionally, it incorporates Dolby-B noise reduction technology to enhance audio quality by minimizing background noise. The device includes mechanical transport control for precise operation and boasts a 3-digit mechanical counter alongside analog needle meters for monitoring playback. Connectivity options include two mono microphone inputs and a headphone output, while individual input level controls allow for customized sound adjustments.
