The Sansui QRX-7001/701 is a quadraphonic receiver that was produced from 1974 to 1977 in Japan. It features a brushed aluminum front panel with a wooden housing, and it is characterized by its distinctive retro design. The QRX-7001/701 is capable of delivering a continuous power output of 4x 35 watts (RMS) at 8 ohms, with dynamic power capabilities for both 8 ohm and 4 ohm loads. The receiver includes a variety of input options including dual phono inputs and auxiliary channels for both two-channel and four-channel setups. It also supports tape playback with multiple connections for different formats. The frequency response is broad, with phono inputs covering 30 Hz to 15 kHz and high-level inputs extending from 15 Hz to 30 kHz. The internal tuner receives FM and AM frequencies, boasting a sensitivity of 1.8µV for FM and 15µV for AM.
