The Sansui SC-37 is an induced magnet type cartridge designed specifically for use with the Sansui SR-212 belt drive turntable. There are aftermarket stylus replacements available, such as the 6010-DS and 70710-DS, both of which are spherical diamond tip stereo needles suitable for playing 33/45 RPM records. The SC-37 can also utilize a quality replica stylus material made from natural diamond, which provides a potential increase in longevity compared to sapphire alternatives.
