MiND 2

The MiND 2 from MOON is an advanced network streamer that builds upon the success of its predecessor by incorporating several significant enhancements. Striking a chord with audio enthusiasts, MiND 2 is Roon Ready and capable of multi-room synchronized playback. It also supports the streaming of MQA audio files, although an MQA-compatible DAC is required for full MQA decoding.

Designed to serve as the nerve center of your digital music environment, MiND 2 is controlled through a proprietary application compatible with iPad, iPhone, or Android devices. This setup not only simplifies accessing, browsing, and playing your favorite music stored on computers, NAS, mobile devices, or streamed from online services but also seamlessly integrates with your MOON Hi-Fi system to allow effortless control.

In terms of connectivity, MiND 2 offers numerous digital outputs including Toslink, SPDIF, and AES/EBU, thus ensuring optimal connection to any DAC and realizing the DAC's full auditory potential. Additionally, the introduction of Bluetooth® aptX™ audio support enhances its versatility by facilitating easy wireless connections with compatible devices.

A special feature of MiND 2 is the SimLink™ connection, which provides coordinated control over other SimLink-equipped MOON systems. This connection allows users to adjust volume directly through the MOON MiND Controller App. This app alters the real volume, not just digital attenuation, maintaining the integrity and fidelity of music across volume levels, which is especially crucial for achieving audiophile-grade sound quality.
