The Sony TC-6100 is a tape deck characterized by its compact design and advanced technological features. The overall strain rate is limited to 2%, with a signal-to-noise ratio of 55 dB when using SLH tapes and 52 dB with general tapes. The device measures 386 mm in width, 340 mm in height, and 190 mm in depth, weighing in at 8 kg. Originally priced at ¥32,800 around 1971, it reflects the engineering prowess of Sony during that era.
