Xiaomi has unveiled its latest portable Bluetooth speaker, the Sound Party, which aims to deliver a compelling combination of robust audio performance and practical features for gatherings and leisure activities. At its core, this new entrant provides a total output of 50W, comprising a 35W woofer and a 15W tweeter. Designed to bring immersive sound to the forefront, the Sound Party supports stereo pairing via NFC, allowing users to link two units for a more expansive auditory experience.
The speaker doesn't just focus on sound; it also introduces a visual dimension with 3D lighting effects synchronized to the rhythm of the music. This feature enhances the ambiance, making it particularly suited for party settings. Durability is another strong suit, with IP67 certification ensuring resistance to both dust and water. Compact yet robust, the unit measures 255 x 92 x 92 mm and weighs approximately 1,200 grams, making it easy to transport.
When it comes to battery life, the Sound Party provides up to 26 hours of playback at 50% volume with the lights disabled, thanks to its 37.96 Wh internal battery. Fast-charging functionality allows for two hours of playback after just a 10-minute charge, while the device also doubles as a power bank, adding to its versatility.
