The Teac S-300 R is a compact loudspeaker system manufactured in Japan between 1994 and 1995. It features a 13 cm coaxial 2-way speaker design with a bass reflex system, making it an ideal bookshelf-type speaker. The speaker is constructed with a woofer that utilizes a pulp cone with a laminate structure, incorporating high-quality Kapok for enhanced audio playback capabilities. The soft dome tweeter is designed to minimize unnecessary vibrations, and the entire unit includes OFHC (oxygen-free copper) wires for improved transmission characteristics. The enclosure is built from high-density particle board and finished with a wood-grain appearance, particularly in Tasman maple. Additionally, it supports banana plug connections for the speaker terminals and can be mounted on ceilings with an optional bracket. The S-300 R has a rated input of 50W and a maximum allowable input of 100W, operating within a frequency range of 80 Hz to 20 kHz.
