The Topping U90 is a USB Bridge designed for high-performance audio applications. It offers extensive control over IIS (Inter-IC Sound) pin definitions through four switches located on the back panel, allowing adjustments for IIS phase, MCLK selection, DSD flag, and IIS DSDR. The device features a total of seven outputs, including IIS, AES, coaxial, and optical connections, making it versatile enough to serve multiple DACs or other audio components. It supports high-resolution audio formats with specifications of up to 32bit/768kHz via IIS-LVDS, and up to 24-bit/192kHz for AES, optical, and coaxial outputs. To reduce jitter in audio transmission, the U90 is equipped with a femtosecond crystal oscillator and a CPLD (Complex Programmable Logic Device) to optimize the digital signal. Additionally, it integrates a USB isolator to help mitigate ground loop noise, effectively reducing interference by as much as 50dB in real-world setups. The U90 also includes a 12V trigger feature, enabling synchronization of power among multiple compatible audio units. Its compact dimensions measure 8.7 x 6.2 x 1.7 inches (22.2 x 16 x 4.5 cm).
