The Toshiba SR-300 is a record player that features a belt drive system and is designed with a static balanced pipe arm. It is powered by a 4-pole synchronous motor, ensuring smooth rotational stability. This model is equipped with an autocut auto-return system, which allows the arm to automatically return to its rest position after playback. The turntable is crafted from aluminum die-cast, measuring 31 cm in diameter. The output voltage is rated at 6 mv at 1 kHz with a tracking force of 50mm/sec. Its compact dimensions are 450 mm in width, 180 mm in height, and 350 mm in depth, with a weight of 6.5 kg. The dust cover can be attached or removed easily, adding to its functionality and aesthetic appeal. During its release in around 1973, it was priced at approximately ¥ 23,900. An IM cartridge is used with the SR-300, and replacement stylus options include a natural diamond stylus that can last up to 1000 hours.
